What this scan assesses

A targeted evaluation of the liver, gallbladder, common bile duct, and right kidney to check for:

  • Biliary dilation/obstruction and sludge
  • Fatty liver, cysts, focal lesions
  • Right renal hydronephrosis, stones, or cysts
  • Limited assessment of adjacent structures when visualized (e.g., porta hepatis); if a broader view is needed, we may recommend an Abdomen Complete.
