FAQ:
Do I need a separate eye exam for contacts if I just had a glasses exam?
Yes. A safe, accurate contact lens fit requires a current refraction and eye health check. If yours is ≤12 months old and you bring your SRx, you may qualify for a Refit.
My outside exam is 6 months old—can I still do a fitting only exam?
No—please book the Full Exam Package so we can update your prescription and confirm eye health first. Your prescription changes throughout the year, for optimal vision through your contact lenses, we need an updated prescription for glasses.
What if my outside records are missing details?
We’ll perform what’s needed the same day and apply the Full Exam Package so your fit is precise.
Is a contact lens evaluation covered by insurance? Often no (or only partly), as it's considered an elective service. That's why we offer simple, transparent pricing and accept HSA/FSA for your convenience.
Can I do the vision exam and contact lens evaluation on the same day? Yes—most patients find it convenient to do both during the same visit. Simply let us know when booking.
What if the trial lenses aren’t perfect? Your satisfaction is our priority. You have a 30-day follow-up window for any adjustments needed to achieve optimal comfort and vision.
I’m new to contacts—will you teach me how to use them? Absolutely! We offer dedicated First-Time Insertion/Removal Training where we’ll coach you step-by-step for safe and easy contact lens wear.
What if a medical issue is found:
We’ll switch to a medical eye visit (billed to medical insurance when eligible). Contact lens services and refraction remain cash items.
