FAQS

 Is refraction covered by insurance?

A: Generally, vision insurance plans cover refractions. However, it is priced simply at $60, making it accessible even if the patient prefers not to use their vision insurance for this portion. HSA/FSA is accepted for convenience.

What if I also need contact lenses?

A separate Contact Lens Evaluation service is offered. Many patients conveniently schedule both their vision exam and contact lens evaluation on the same day.

Will my eyes be dilated during the exam?

Dilation is not a routine part of every vision exam. It's only performed if it's beneficial for eye health or safety, and the necessity will be discussed beforehand.

How long does a vision exam typically take?

A: Most standard vision exams take approximately 25-35 minutes. If a contact lens evaluation is opted for, please allocate an additional 10-15 minutes.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

Same-day or next-day appointments are offered whenever possible. Book online or call to inquire about availability.

What type of technology is used for exams?

State-of-the-art equipment is utilized for comprehensive eye examinations, including advanced automated refraction systems and digital imaging for precise assessments.
